The Teltonika TRB160 is a compact and energy-efficient industrial IoT gateway designed for high-performance connectivity in demanding applications. Equipped with LTE Cat 6 cellular support and Gigabit Ethernet, this device delivers robust and secure data transmission suitable for M2M and industrial automation solutions.
Mobile Connectivity
The TRB160 supports LTE Cat 6 mobile networks with download speeds of up to 300 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps, enabling carrier aggregation for enhanced performance. It includes advanced status indicators such as signal strength, SINR, RSRP, and RSRQ, as well as features like SMS management, USSD support, operator block/allow lists, and multiple PDN access options.
Its comprehensive mobile toolkit also includes SIM PIN code management, automatic APN configuration, band management, and passthrough functionality, making it highly adaptable to varied mobile infrastructure environments.
Ethernet & Network Features
The gateway includes a single Gigabit Ethernet port supporting auto MDI/MDIX and full compliance with IEEE networking standards. Extensive routing capabilities are available including static and dynamic routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, RIP, and more.
The TRB160 supports a full range of network services and protocols such as IPv4/IPv6, MQTT, SNMP, SSH, and VRRP, alongside features like DHCP, DNS over HTTPS, connection monitoring, and hotspot capabilities. Integrated firewall tools and port management options provide robust security and visibility over the device's network environment.
Security & VPN
Designed with enterprise-grade security in mind, the TRB160 offers firewall rules management, attack prevention, VLAN separation, and SSL certificate generation. It supports multiple VPN solutions including OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, SSTP, and ZeroTier for secure remote connections, with up to 27 encryption methods available for fine-tuned configuration.
IoT & Protocol Support
This gateway includes native support for major industrial protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, DLMS/COSEM, OPC UA, and MQTT. The ‘Data to Server’ functionality allows seamless integration with cloud platforms via HTTP(S) or MQTT, supporting custom LUA scripting for advanced use cases.
Device Management
With Teltonika’s Remote Management System (RMS), Web UI, SSH, TR-069, and JSON-RPC, the TRB160 can be remotely monitored and configured. Firmware and configuration updates can be performed individually or in bulk via RMS or FOTA services.
Hardware & Physical Interfaces
The device features 1 x Gigabit Ethernet port, 2 x configurable digital I/Os, a USB Type-C port for power and network data, and an internal SIM slot. It includes multiple LED indicators for power, connectivity, and Ethernet status. The anodised aluminium housing offers excellent durability in industrial settings.
Installation & Power
The TRB160 supports DIN rail, wall, and flat surface mounting options (mounting kits sold separately). Power can be supplied via 4-pin industrial DC socket or USB Type-C, with passive PoE support over Ethernet. It operates on 9–30 VDC (DC jack) or 5 VDC (USB-C), with a low idle power consumption of less than 0.25 W.
Operating Environment & Compliance
Built to endure harsh conditions, the TRB160 operates in temperatures from -40 °C to +75 °C and humidity levels from 10% to 90% (non-condensing). It carries CE, UKCA, and CB regulatory approvals and meets multiple EMC, RF, and safety standards including EN IEC 62368-1.

Order Processing Time
Once we receive your order we endeavour to process and ship it to you as quickly as possible. Most orders are processed within 1 hour. This does exclude weekends and holiday. Our order cut off time for next day delivery is approximately 4.00pm. Please note that during peak seasons or promotional periods, it may take us slightly longer to process your order.
